Junior Recreational

Age Group: School Years 3 – 6

Within this class the children work independently as well as in large and small groups.  Skills include the development of floor skills, sequences, tumbling. We introduce both pair and group work along with the transferal of floor skills up onto a height. For example, a forward roll on floor adapted and performed on a bench or beam. Skill-based circuits are used to improve overall fitness, and additional skills are learnt on large apparatus (bars, vault, bench and beam).
